There were no directions on how to set up the train set. You just have to look at the pictures. It does not stay together well once a train is put on it. The bridge and elevated areas come apart causing the train to fall. I bought this for my 2 year old but he is not able to play with it very well. My five year old also has a hard time. If you're buying it for yourself then you might have fun but probably not. I almost had a nervous breakdown trying to get it all together like pictured. Pass on this one and get a more expensive but better constructed set.

On first glance, this set is super cute. But when I tried to help my toddlers put it together it quickly became apparent that it is cheaply made and not good quality. The sides of the police station are paperboard (not plastic how it looks in the photos) and they don’t stay together. The lifted tracks were a huge pain in the butt to get to stay in place it would be YEARS before they would even have a chace or doing it themselves, and had tiny parts that would be impossible to keep tract of. Going to return it and buy a name brand wood train set for the kids.Really disappointed in this purchase.

Worst ever! The pieces for the upper track will not stay up. Constantly fixing it. Track does not fit snug enough to hold track together. Returning.

Wooden tracks and trains are durable. The ramps are not sturdy, they fall apart as soon as soon as you push the train up the ramp. While assembling the ramp it falls apart very easily. Not recommended for a 3 year old, they get frustrated when the bridge and ramp falls down every time.

Very well crafted and my son loves playing with it
