I have been looking for one of these blankets for years. This is just what I need for cold nights this winter.

Let me rephrase that, i love this blanket when it is cold. This blanket is so heavy that even in 40 degree temperature it will keep you warm. If the house warms up prepare to melt!Seriously this is a nice blanket. It is extremely heavy for a blanket but it is very soft to the skin. It feels like someone put a ton of soft bricks on you. I gave my parents this same blanket for Xmas 8 years ago and it still looks and feels like new. So although a little expensive i feel it is a good investment.Makes a great Christmas gift.

Only 3 stars because of big branding on blanket is ugly on bottom corner.. Will bleed in washer. Is only bad side. Great size, very soft, and very warm... GF loves it..

This is a wonderful thick blanket and probably replaces 2-4 blankets on the bed, but I'm returning it because to me the color isn't as the picture shows it. The blanket is a very pale yellow not white or even creamy white. I did have friends with differing opinions though as to what the color should be called. Some said it was creamy white and some said pale yellow. I'm sticking with pale yellow. If it was white I would definitely keep it.
