Flexible cable, but beware: Ground Pin (sleeve) not connected!
Did not work for my application. Checked it out, and the GROUND pin (sleeve) is not connected through the cable by design. I cut the cable and indeed, there are only 5 wires and no ground or shielding. The wires are copper, but very thin. I figure 24 gauge or smaller. If this works for you application, the positive is it's a very nicely flexible cable!
