Hurrycane Hurrybright Folding Cane with T Handle, Saw Tooth

Seriously, what is the weird little light in the base supposed to do. It takes an engineering degree to figure out how to turn it on and off, and it only lasts a week or so.That said, this is the reliable, sturdy, self-standing HurryCane that you envy when you see other people using it. I love these things (between us, we have four various models -- one each in the car and one each in the house). I am extremely large (I exceed the safety limits, so I won't say _how_ heavy) and it works like a dream. Just get rid of the gimmicky, confusing, weird little light thing.

I only have gotten two canes and I like this one much more than the really cheap one I got at Walmart. I really like the joint at the bottom which gives me extra stability (which is why I need a cane, dammit). I got the version with the light, as it was $.80 more but it really isn't helpful to see but might make it much easier for others (in cars) to see me. I have no complaints about the cane and I do like that joint.I haven't folded it yet.. I keep it in the car and use it when I am going to be walking on uneven surfaces. I truly hate using a cane but after two broken bones in three months, I give up.

I had put off buying a Hurrycane because I’ve never been able to find a folding cane that when unfolded is not too long. I’m under 5 feet tall.I was traveling and my normal cane was getting in the way a lot. I ordered a Hurrycane and it made the return trip so much easier. The best feature is that it folds up easily to go into the storage pocket of my Rollator. I don’t use the light at all, but it’s a cute feature. The base is sturdy and still has flexibility when I walk on uneven terrain.

The light did not work. After getting out tools to remove the bottom to get to the batteries and getting the light to work, reinstalled the bottom and the light stopped working again. after an hour of fiddling with it finally had to shim the bottom plate so it did not put pressure on the batteries and it finally worked.

Bought this for my mom and the cane would fall over while standing up. I adjusted the feet and still had the same issue. I went to the drug store and bought a standard 4-prong base, however I was not able to remove the 3-prong base on this Hurrycane to switch it out.She really likes the handle, but the stick itself was not stable enough to remain upright, so I had to return the item and buy one twice the price so that she will be able to have this same grip part, be on 4-prongs, and not have the fold up option.

Was a replacement for another hurrycane. Did not care for the light at the base of the hurrycane. Old hurrycane had light in the handle.

Purchased this for my husband when the Doctor told him he needed to use a cane. He is a gadget guy and liked the light for being out at night.We have found that the on off switch for the light will get hit by accident and run the batteries down (the switch is on the base)Note the base does swivel. Also note the cane does clasp so if it gets caught on something it will pull apart.

Cane works great, folds quickly and easily and I have wrist joint problems. Gave it only 4 stars (would've given 4 1/2 if I could), but you cannot hang it with that type of handle. A hook would be more user friendly. That being said, it's still a great cane.
