My two chairs arrived on the day forecast. The packing is barely adequate. For some curious reason there is a handful (or maybe two) of shredded cardboard thrown in as protection...ha. There were no instructions included, but assembly is pretty simple. Best advice is to lay out the parts and figure out the orientation of the seat, legs and seat back. Then insert the coach screws through the legs in pairs front and back on the seat and lower and upper on the seat back. If you buy more than one chair do not mix up the parts.....they may not be interchangeable.There are a couple of things I would advise. First is the paint the coach screw heads with Hammerite black or brown spray paint before you assemble the chair. It really does look better than the galvanised finish. Second, in my case I used a DeWalt drill /driver with a 13mm nut setter to assemble and tighten the coach screw nuts, but if you do, use both hands on the drill to avoid spraining your wrist and use a low torque setting to avoid splitting the wood - you can do the final tightening using a 13mm spanner.I have given this 4 stars because in my case there was some minor transit damage which I fixed myself.

This chair is extremely comfortable and was very easy to construct - I say this as a woman of a certain age, oldish!!I did have a query about the instructions which was quickly resolved in a phone call. I am very satisfied with the chair and the service I received.

On both of the chairs the back panels were pinned to the back support through the bolt holes making it difficult to get the bolts through. The pins had to be hammered away to make room for the main bolts.

The garden furniture is very sturdy however we had to return two chairs as they were poorly made and had screws sticking out and the holes to put the bolts in were not lined up correctly.

It was delivered to me Aunt as asked a few days earlier than expected she was so pleased and the delivery driver put it in her garage for her as she asked very helpful.

Delivered with speed and in excellent condition, very sturdy and look lovely in the garden
