A lovely canister for storing a modest quantity of just about anything
Item as advertised, well constructed. I use this as a decorative way to store kitty treats. The canister has a removable inner plastic cap to seal the contents… just don’t lose it or throw it out.

Beautiful tea canister! One of the best patterns I've seen.
UPDATE: I've bought 2 more of these canisters (so i have 3 now), as it's so difficult to find affordable tea canisters that look nice, and most of the other ones have washi paper on the outside (and the paper gets ruined if it gets wet), and this tin print is part of the metal. I might have looked at every metal tin on Amazon before deciding on this. hahaOne of the BEST patterns I've found in metal tea canisters. Red color isn't as bright in person, its a bit more muted, but I'm still totally in love with it. Looks classy, more elegant and not tacky. So many of the other patterns are just too loud for me. I wanted something beautiful but elegant looking. I found it!! =D Inside seal is plastic, but it seems to fit well. Not too tight, not too loose. Then the metal lid goes over the top and slides down the top of the canister.

Very pretty, but VERY tiny.
This is impressively designed and well made. You can’t really put than about 6 oz of loose tea, but it will keep that tea very fresh.

Keeps it Fresh
Love this beautiful Japanese canister. Keeps my tea fresh with a removable seal and the perfectly snug fit of the canister. Also looks attractive on my counter top. I purchased another for my son. He loves it too!

Perfect for use - color not as bright as picture.
This is a nice tin and seems perfectly airtight. The only thing that disappointed me was the color was duller/more faded than in the picture - this is the reason for my 4-star rating. Still a beautiful tin and works great for the loose leaf tea I store in it.
