You remove the cover to microwave & put it back on before placing over the eyes

Hi, The mask can't be put in hot water, however the Eye Doctor Premium which you are referring to here has a removable cover and so the inner bag can be heated in a conventional oven rather than in a microwave. Hope that helps.

Hi, when using hot, it will hold the correct temperature for 10 mins allowing you to treat the conditions. When using cold, leave it in the freezer for atleast 2 hours (or it can stay in there permanently until needed) and it will stay cold for up to 15 mins. If your main reason for buying is for a cold compress, I would recommend the eye doctor allergy, which will stay colder for longer. Hope that helps :)
