Elivia Model 3 Roof Wind Noise Reduction Kit Tesla Windshield Quiet Seal Accessories

I have been struggling with the loud cabin wind noise in my new Tesla Model 3. Researching on various Tesla groups online, I came upon this product from Elivia on Amazon to tackle the wind noise issue. I took a chance and purchased this product considering it was inexpensive. The product was delivered promptly by Amazon within a few days. It came in a plastic zip bag with no instructions. However, the Amazon product page has an excellent installation video and after quickly watching it, I got to work. The product is made of a smooth/soft rubbery silica gel material. It is a long circular black tube. Based on the tip from the video, I attached the opposite ends of the roof glass first. I then started fitting the other two sides. The installation took me all of 2 minutes. Easy peasy. No kidding! I made sure it was fitted snugly all around and took the car out for a drive on the highway. I swear the cabin noise has significantly reduced. Full disclosure: I also have the door seal so the roof seal + door seal combo has now made my car cabin whisper quiet, just the way I like it. I take a lot of work conference calls while driving and now my cabin is quiet enough to drive and talk on the phone. This product is great value for money and a must-have for Model 3s. Wish Tesla spent the extra 15 bucks to install this themselves before selling the car, but at least we have aftermarket options. 5 stars all the way for this amazing product!

I got this kit and a cheaper 7 dollar kit on Amazon. This material is way better, it stretches good and keeps the same color when stretched. The cheaper one I got did not stretch good and when stretched too far it change to a lighter shade almost a light gray.The problem is I had to stretch this material to fit and in doing so it left me a lot of slack at the end. Ended up having to chop in half and ran the excess down the back of the right side.

I installed per the video, but it only lasted a day before the first time it started to pop out... I saw it waving in the wind in the sunroof, so I stopped and pulled it out. When I had time, I reinstalled it, being careful to make sure it was fully seated into the gap all the way around. The next time I drove, it must have popped out again, as I lost it.

Worst product even. It would not stay in place. It kept rolling out of the channel. Did not stay on long enough to even take car out of garage.

Installed it according to instructions. It came loose in couple of days. Tried fitting it again but resulted in same result.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It came quick, easily to install and don’t stretch it, it will fit. I pushed it in with my finger and used a medal object to push it in further. Does help the noise level. No issues with the band coming off or too big.

Make sure you firmly press this item into the grove.
