These glasses are great. I’ve been wearing shady rays for the last 10 years and these put those to shame and they’re half the price. I especially like that when I’m in and out I don’t have to flip them up when I come inside. the lenses turn clear and my vision is not impaired.

These things actually work! Great for golf, changing degrees of darkness to light is great for reading putts, taking a trip to the beach, and tracking one you piped on a bright sunny day or when it’s getting ready to downpour.

Glasses are great but I don't like them maybe will try another pair

I bought these glasses expecting the photochromic feature, meaning the lenses would darken when exposed to bright sunlight. However, the color remained exactly the same whether I was indoors, in darker areas, or out in direct sunlight. If there was any change, it was so minimal that it was not noticeable at all. The lenses have a consistent medium gray shade that does not adjust to lighting conditions as advertised. Also, indoors the lenses are not clear, which can be distracting. The glasses look okay overall, but if you’re specifically looking for true photochromic lenses that react to sunlight, these are not it.

These glasses are awesome!!! I am 65 years old. I drove a truck for 14 years. These sunglasses are the best I have ever owned. Over the years I have owned and tried a lot of sunglasses, including the name brands. They are so good that I bought a second pair. For the price they are unbeatable and I would've gladly paid $100 for themv

I was looking for biking glasses with photochromic and polarization. This combo is far to find. I bought these based on the volume of sales and positive feedbacks. These glasses are the perfect combination of quality construction, materials and performance. First … all photochromic lenses DO NOT perform at all in automobiles. The tinting of the windshield and windows severely inhibits the darkening ability of the lenses. These are meant for outside direct sunlight. They go from light grey to medium grey … not dark grey. The polarization is great. It prevents glare and saturates color … reds are redder, greens are greener and so on. I slipped a pair on while watching TV one night ( Wheel of Fortune) and was amazed at the color rendition. So these are not sunglasses for the car or the beach. But if you need a little to moderate darkening and want polarization … look no further. Also the spring loaded frames set the mark for quality and looks. The only negative is the lack of of a clamshell hard case is not included. The included plastic pouch is useless but you can pick up a $6 clamshell case on Amazon or Ebay. You can spend $5-$7 less for similar but expect less in quality and construction.

I work for a major Telco corporation and safety is paramount in my job. Safety glasses HAVE to be rated Z87 or I’m not in compliance. Clear, smoke, or dark safety glasses outside and clear or smoke safety glasses inside. I basically have to wear glasses for 100% of my work. I’ve always wanted a pair of transition glasses so I can wear the same pair everywhere instead of having to swap. After reading reviews, I finally settled on this pair. For safety glasses, they are fairly aesthetically pleasing. But, they have two major flaws. First, they’re not stamped Z87 anywhere. If they’re not stamped, I can’t wear them. Second, they don’t transition. I know it’s difficult to tell from pictures but they look exactly the same to me inside as out. Leaving these on my counter out of direct light or outside in direct sunlight, they don’t seem any different to me. They’re basically smoke colored. Too light for the sunlight and too dark for inside, in my opinion. Sadly these are getting returned.
