I have used multiple brands of ceramic coatings. This one is different. The carrier smells like it is more volatile and the liquid itself is more viscous than any other I have used.The bottle top applicator is not really appropriate for applying drops to an applicator. I simply popped an applicator cap off another bottle and used that.Typically I only use super fine microfiber applicator pads, so I did not use the one which came with the product.I prepped the paint doing a two stage compound buff, then an alcohol wash and thorough wipe down.Product goes on thicker due to the viscosity difference between it and others. I let it gas off for about 5 minutes, then evened it out with a clean microfiber. Waited a few minutes then took a clean microfiber and removed all excess residue till the shine was even and streak free.It dried to a glass like finish. Very interesting product. I look forward to seeing how it weathers.

This turned out to be a horrible product. I had another brand of ceramic coating and ran out with about 5% of the vehicle left to do... So I figured ceramic coating is ceramic coating, probably came from the same place right? WRONG The method to get the coating on your applicator on the other brand was a tiny hole that included an easy to use plastic plug to keep the air out of the solution (it will harden with air). This one was just the opening of the bottle which made it very difficult to apply to applicator with the correct amount! Also, this stuff smells like crazy, like paint thinner or lacquer. Just with the smaller amount that was used, the entire garage smells. The other hand didn't do that! As for the application itself, it goes on very sticky. It's so sticky it was pulling lint out of my lint free microfiber. The other brands came with block applicator AND a bunch of cloths to wrap around over the sponge part. This is the way you are supposed to apply ceramic coating, but this one just comes with a block applicator with a thin cloth built in over the sponge, very cheap and inadequate. There is NO lint at all on the other brand. Needless to say, all ceramic coatings are not created equal, and I will be returning the remaining supply of this brand immediately.

It's a 2010 F150 - paint has been cared for but is original. Put what was left on the roof and hood of a 2015 Toyota Venza. As with most things, prep is important - washed vehicles, washed again with Turtle Wax Speed Cut to remove water spots and old wax. Put this product on. You can actually feel the paint getting smoother as you apply it (but it still isn't "clay bar" smooth). Put 2 coats on truck (3 on hood and roof), had enough to do hood and roof of Toyota (big roof). Both came out much better than started (Toyota more so, but it has better paint to start with). Overall I'm impressed on day one. Will this stuff just was off like olive oil over the next 3 months? I don't know.

Like others mention, the formula is thicker than other coating and as a result a lot more streaky. I think using a microfiber helps a bit.For my use, I was trying to protect my lawn equipment so the aesthetics was not as important but it started to gum and sticky which defeats the whole purpose.

The product is great but the results will be highly dependent on the prep work.a mediocre ceramic coating with great prep work will always beat a great ceramic coating with mediocre prep work.

If you don't know how to use ceramic coating do not try this for your first time.Very unclear instructions!
