This is a serious blender which blends quietly. It is much larger than I expected but that’s good, it can deal with 1.8 litres. The glass jug is substantial and quite heavy so care must be taken if owners have a weak grip. It is well made and should serve me well. I bought the mill attachment to deal with all foods and in my opinion the blender is good value for money

I’m praising this machine very highly. Just used to make almond milk and so very fast - 60 seconds!And then used the ‘clean’ facility …..just turned to ‘clean’ and pressed ‘auto’….abs brilliant.You can take jug apart from blade part to wash in a bowl of hot soapy water if and when necessary.Two lots of measurements on jug which are clearly marked. It’s a fairly heavy jug but not as heavy as the Ninja Soup Maker. This one is far more manageable for me.A beautifully coloured and descriptive recipe book came with the blender and cram packed with useful information!It took me a while to check all the blenders out there but I needed to take the height, wattage (you need it to be reasonably high for ice crushing) and colour etc. into consideration. And of course take all the reviews into account.So far I am over the moon with this Magimix. It feels strong and robust and like all their products shouts quality!

thick glass blender jug is a bit heavy , no holder container but need to purchase it

A very well made piece of equipment but not very good when you have arthritis in your hands. Ratherdifficult to tighten the base.

I’m not going to agree with the marketing BS that this is so silent you can sleep next to it, because it’s obviously not true.But for the record, it is actually significantly more silent than most of the blenders I’ve seen so far.I mostly use it for hot soaps making smoothies and occasionally grind spices, and for these tasks the blinding performance is excellent.He’s definitely easy to use, and powerful enough for basically anything I throw at it.The built quality is absolutely amazing, this thing feels like it will last forever.

POSSIBLE problem with Jug

Why did you choose this product over others?:Very well made. I've had mine for 4 years and counting. One thing I'll say is that the seal isn't perfect on my unit and so the blades' housing requires frequent cleaning to avoid leaks.
