I have hallway fixtures with three lights each. One bulb burned out and I knew that I would never be able to find the same kind anywhere. Thankfully, though, I did on Amazon, and they are exactly the same as the old ones!!

These were cheap, but I expected the quality to not be all there. I had one bulb that lasted me close to 5 years; hence, the need to purchase new ones. The first bulb only lasted 2 months. I’m now on my second which seems to be doing better. I don’t expect them to last years, but I was hoping for at least 6months per bulb.I do enjoy the light that it gives off as it’s a nice soft warmth. It isn’t overly bright and it’s not that hot burning either which is nice. I don’t need to worry about my niece grabbing the wax melter and burning herself.

I didn't realize there is a little code on the side of the metal part of the bulb that gives you the number bulb. The hardware store said, here's what you need.. and I said... I don't think so... comparing my old bulb with the new one they handed to me... rather then argue, I just bought it. Well, I was right. Returned it to Hardware store and came to amazon after home depot showed me the code on the bulb. (they didn't have it either). The bulb is great, works perfectly and I now have the extras needed to replace the others when they go.

My hallway light fixture was just so dim, I took the cover off and 3 of the 4 bulbs had burnt out. No wonder that hallway was so dark! So I go to the big box stores and some of the smaller ones too and no one had this lightbulb for my fixture. It was being replaces with the 'latest and greatest' lightbulb that would last forever.... and cost a small fortune also. Well.... these bulbs had lasted for over 20 years, and I hated the thought of having to replace the fixture. The big box stores told me these bulbs are being fazed out. Amazon has these bulbs and for a great price. Got quickly, now my hallway is bright again. These bulbs also work with a dimmer.... I didn't realize there was a special bulb for that, but these are perfect!

Shopped all over for these bulbs and spent money on bulbs that wouldn't fit (too tall) or didn't melt candle cubes. Perfect size, melted cubes and had ambience of candle warmer and not a spot light that's too bright to keep on overnight. Packaged very securely and only took 2 days to receive. Very, very pleased. These bulbs shipped super quick and should fit the bill when using with my wax melter. Thank God you can still get these "old-fashioned" bulbs on Amazon, cuz today's hardware stores sure don't have them 🙄
