Update: I added a EVH 5150 Overdrive to my pedal board,this polishes off my sound, combined with the Slide Rig,both work together perfectly, I leave the slide rig on constantly.That is why I bought it, I was hoping this would be theanswer, and yes it is. I have been searching for years to getthis sound, so I can play clean slide so that you can hearevery note, and with a 'full' shimmering sound , with contiguousnotes.This does not do much for me lead playing, its not really intendedto, but for slide and nice clean chording, it is excellent, almost magic.The unit is very heavy for its size which seems impressive the finish,look, is top notch.I'm just using 'stock' suggested settings, I'm going with the 'little feat'band, guitar sound , its the middle picture, of the suggested settings,and actually come to think of it, when I use distortion on my amp, orgain, I use the parallel setting (exg 3) to tighten up the leads, itsand improvement, but I'm still searching for that overdrive pedal thatwill give me something close to Duane Allman's set up, from the 70's .
