Spray it in your hand then rub it in. My dog was hesitant with the spray. Been using it and I love the outcome. Worth the purchase.

Works great for my XoloDoes the job and helps him not get sunburnt since I live in Texas, got a big bottle too I just spray some onto my hand and lather him in the sunscreen.Any owners with xolos that have lighter skin, i just use the suncreen and bought him a light sun shirt so his back doesn’t get sunburnt

The sunscreen itself seems to do a good job, my dog has less itching and skin sensitivity after being out in the sun. No reaction to the product.The only thing that prevented me from giving this product 5 stars is the bottle and application. It's just a standard spritz topper, it doesn't have good coverage. If the sprayer sprayed at a wider angle or even if they switched to aerosol cans, it would offer better coverage, be less time consuming to apply, and would use less product per application (more product for the money spent).

Compared to prescription products this is very cost effective and my doggie tolerates it well. Lotion consistency, applies easily. My doggie has some patchy hair loss ( alopecia X per the vet) so sun protection is important to keep him healthy and prevent sunburn. Only flaw is the sprayer pump broke in transit so I just apply it with my hand. My doggie likes that better anyway.

I find it seems to work well and my dogs tolerate it well. And the fragrance is okay.But the spray only worked the first time. It pumps but the lotion no longer comes out and I have to open the bottle to use it. It’s annoying when I’m in a hurry.I may not re order for this reason.

My service dog actually likes me to rub the protectant into her fur. We have a critical level of UV here in New Mexico and I want to protect her as much as I can because she is also my "outdoor partner." This with nose/ear protectnt cream really give you peace of mind.I have a friend that lost his companion to cancer of the nose. Not a good way to die.

Howie has allergies/sensitive skin. He has a bare spot on his back. We been using this product for a year and a half with success. Howie (we) believe in this product. Thank you for the piece of mind.Peace, love, and puppies!!!

It arrived in. It was covered with the sunscreen itself. When we took the cap off it was all over the bottle. Then the sprayer doesn't even work so it's garbage. We have to find something somewhere else now. Very disappointing
