I purchased this as a stocking stuffer for my kids because we have the full size version and they love it. This size is great to bring with in the diaper bag and in the car so that my kids have something to play with on the go. The most noticeable difference is that there is no central power button on the mini version which sometimes causes confusion between start up and game play.

Bad design choice to make it turn ON with ANY button press but NO option to shut it up! The sounds are also very tinny and unlike the original game, which is most of the nostalgia factor. This is a modernized version of the classic, not a miniature replica of the old game.If you were looking for a revisit to childhood, you will be disappointed with this. I know there are some out there that at least retained the same tonal quality of the original, so I will try another version and ditch this one. Having a cat with a noisy toy that turns on at the slightest touch and no way to turn it off is a bad combination for my sanity.If you're looking for a generic toy without expectations of the original game, you might like it better, but the fact that it can't be shut off immediately is a huge drawback even if you don't find the actual sound as abrasive as I do.
