I received the tiger’s eye version though I thought for sure I had ordered a different one. That’s a mere quibble though. The necklace is beautiful but I refer to it as such because it does not work as prayer beads. Every 9 beads there are small spacers of metal and in other portions tiny decorative beads the size of bb’s while the rest are the size of oh say a pea. As I was hoping for function as well as form, this will be passed along to someone who will appreciate the beauty of this as jewelry.

Quality is wonderful, beads are surprisingly beautiful. I recommend this as a gift option, as the packaging is also quite lovely...a lovely linen box with black velvet sides that opens to find the mala neatly coiled and held in place by an ingenious loop that snaps, with a lovely instruction card for caring for the stone. Truly well thought out. This mala is on strung as a stretchy cord, which seems thick enough, so I hope it's strong enough for the weight. It is lovely.

I was amazed when I saw the quality of the beautiful unique box and then of the bracelet. Beautiful stones with brass accents can be worn as bracelet or necklace. This is a very very nice piece. Thank you.
