Lights up my rear and
Haha Made you look. I have been driving without a license plate light for years. I don’t drive at night so luckily I’ve not been pulled over but this light was affordable and arrived overnight. I had a mechanic friend install and it took less than 10 minutes. I watched him do it and realized I could have done it myself. I’m legal now and my personalized dolphin license plate is visible at night.

2017 VW GTI SE. Works great! No coding, just plug and play.
Took me all of 10 minutes to install these. No coding, no anything to make them work and also have no warning lights.These are quite bright, but I like that. It lets me see the ground in the dark when getting something out of the hatch.

Did not fit
Wrong plug thought I had the plug sorted out. They worked and my error light disappeared, but they did not fit in the hole. do not fit. Mk6 Jetta.

Work as promised
These work great and were extremely easy to install on my 17 VW Golf Wolfsburg edition. Highly recommend.

Super bright LEDs
So far so good! Entirely plug and play and no light popping up. Before I got these I still had the regular halogen ones and the driver side kept wanting to go out sometimes causing the light to trigger on the dash. Even brighter when backing up at night in the camera some.

Overall not great at all.
These are not bad in a pinch but in no way are a direct fit, the plugs are not sized right so they do not clip in, you have to watch when to plug them in that you have the pins in the slots or else youll push the pin out of the connector or bend the tabs. Plugs definitely need some work, the lights fit into the bumper very poorly. Just installed them and im predicting they will eventually fall out so be prepared for that. The only reason they get 2 stars is because they came in 1 day they were cheap and they do actually work surprisingly. No error lights yet but are not very bright at all. Overall would not recommend. Go to uro tuning or ecs and get nice ones.
