I like the size it easily fits in my pocket. Awesome product.

Thermal Imaging is really cool, seeing how whats really giving off heat in a shop. Plus what animals might be hiding in my pole barn.

Works well but the resolution is the best

I posted a question asking whether or not some of the thermal images were accurate depictions of what this device was capable of. I suspect they were not but I had read that there was some sort of imagine processing and overlay capability which could enhance the look of the image. Knowing that made me think maybe what the video showed was possible despite the low-resolution thermal imaging chip. I was wrong...Observations:- If you expect it to be a nice low-resolution thermal imaging camera with a removable SD card I think it’s probably a good option.- It does seem to be exactly the same device as the UTi80P Pocket sized Thermal Imager by Uni-Trend Technology. I mention that only because there was slightly more information and a better video on the Uni-Trend Technology “Uni-T” version.- If you expect it to show you images like the hot engine or the fox in the video forget about it and buy something else.- Uses the FLIR imaging Lepton chip (but lowest resolution version)- Buttons and camera have a well-made feel. I didn’t use it but it comes with a decent looking protective case.I use an old FLIR at work and I’ve used newer versions of the FLIR as well but this is the first time I've shopped for one. So when I started looking for my own camera I started looking only at FLIR. I quickly read some reviews indicating that there is common durability issue with at least the FLIR versions which plug into a smart phone. When I saw that I started to question all of the FLIR products due to the nature of the issue.... there are some foreign language videos on diagnosis and possibly even repair.This camera got my attention because it uses a FLIR thermal imaging chip (Lepton 2.5 the lowest resolution FLIR sells) and the images in the video looked seemingly too good to be true…. It turns out they were too good to be true. I’m giving it 4 stars for being good at what it is by specification but I’m deducting 1 star for the misleading images. As long as you realize those images (engine and fox) are not possible and you lower your expectations you should be happy.I ended up returning it as it’s not what I’m looking for. I may try the SEEK Pro version which is about $130 more expensive than this camera. It has much higher resolution but interfaces with a micro C port on a smart phone.

Resolution way too low for using to check fuse panels for hot spots even though the ad pictures it being used for this purpose. Misleading or out right false advertising. Returned

Great product i can spot the people with fevers from a distance now. No covid19 for me!!!! Also good for finding hot spots in the home

I like that this is compact, (relatively) inexpensive, and turns on quickly. However, the measurement accuracy was awful. When first turned on, it would show temperatures about 10-15F lower than the actual temperature. If left on longer, it would show temperatures about 10F too high. I think it would be fine for applications absolute temperature doesn't matter, like looking for insulation gaps in homes or HVAC systems, but it's not useful when you need to actually know what temperature something is. If left on for a while, the center will always show brighter than the periphery; it's easy enough to press the calibration button, but it does not help the readings.
