I like this product & would have given it four or even five stars but, along with many other customers here, the product I received is not what is advertised on amazon. The info here doesn't include the box dimensions (which is clearly larger than the one I received) but does list the weight as 4.23 oz. The product I received is 3.88 oz. For the price I paid I'm a bit dismayed they didn't send the item shown. I did check the ethique website as well & they display the same larger size for the same price. I'll be writing them a message also.

I love this! I have used a very well known acne face wash for the last 15 years. I got so use to using it, the thought of not using it seemed strange. Well the brand I used started to change their main acne products and making them more expensive and the older formula harder to find. I first ordered the face sampler to see how my skin would do with this one. I wanted something to fight acne since that's what my skin is use to. I never had a problem with it as a teenager but the thought of having it as an adult seems so much worse. The smell of it is amazing! It's fruity but clean and a very bright and happy scent. Not over whelming at all. It feels wonderful and moisturizes my skin which my old wash didn't. The sample lasted me over a month so I'm expecting this to last anywhere from 6months to a year. I leave it in the shower to that may or may not play a role in how long the bars last. I received four little bars and not one big bar like other reviews I've read. I have loved everything I've bought from this company! Getting rid of my bottled products one thing at a time!

I'm a user of most ethique products, and regularly use body bars and shampoo. But this one created issues. As others have noted, this was one bar, not three bars.UPDATE 1/6/2020: I've given this bar another shot and have NOT had the same reaction I previously thought I was having from the bar (likely having traced that to lip balm... thinking the bar was drying out my lips I was addressing this with more lip balm!). But good news. I've moved this from a 1 to a 3: I still don't love it compared to most of their other products, but will update after longer usage.[ORIGINAL REVIEW:] Also, I found that I had a reaction to the product: after a few days of use my lip/mouth area would get extremely irritated/dried out/red. Unfortunately I found this with most of their face products so it likely is a personal reaction, but others may have similar issues.

I have ultra sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin, and I really love this face cleansing bar! Trying new products is always scary because of my sensitive skin, and most products break me out in rashes. Ethique's face cleanser works absolutely perfectly. It is natural, so it doesn't irritate my skin, but it really feels like it cleanses. I use this face cleanser in place of Cetaphil, and I use it in conjunction with Thayer's Witch Hazel, and the Ethique "The Perfector" solid face cream. I also do a weekly clay mask. All of this has helped improve my skin tone, though not completely clearing my skin up during the bad days.

I bought the Ethique face sampler and really liked the In Your Face cleansing bar. I am in my late 40’s, and I have had problems with cystic acne since my teens and am still prone to break outs. My T-zone is a little oily, especially the chin, but my cheeks are beginning to become dry. I feel that this bar cleanses away the oil without stripping the dry areas of my face, and since I started using the sample 2 weeks ago, I have not had a break out, which is unheard of for me. It has a light, pleasant smell as well, and I generally do not handle strong odors, and this one is not overpowering. So I decided to purchase the cleansing bar for after I finish the sampler. The picture shows 4 bars. Mine is a single 2” x 2” x 1” cube. First of all, where are my other 3 bars? This single cube is at least half the size oth the 4 bar pack in the picture. Secondly,, the cube is too big for my hands and unwieldy to use. I like this cleanser and only deducted 1 star for the false advertising, and I’ll try using the cube (I thought about trying to cut it in half to make it easier to use, but I’m afraid it’ll crumble away and that I’d lose most of the cleanser). Great cleanser, terrible decision by the company to create a large cube rather than normal sized bars. I think I’d be happier if it came divided in half, but as the large cube, I can not give this product any more than 4 stars.

I loved the texture and how it cleaned, but the large size of the soap didn't work well for me. I use lots of bar soap and have never had a problem using the small drying racks made for that use...but this one got very very soft and started smelling like buttermilk after a couple weeks. I would buy again if they would have it separated into smaller bars like they do the with the pink face wash. Seller was great.

My skin glows since I have started using this product. It has a great scent without being heavily fragranced. The first week I used it I had a small breakout but since then have not had any issues.

This face cleansing bar works wonders! It doesn't dry out my face or irritate my skin. It claims to work as a makeup remover, but I haven't tried removing mascara, etc. My guess is that I would need a separate product for that. The bar also seems to be lasting longer than other face washes I have owned.

Fabulous face cream bar, takes off all liner and mascara, great lather, no plastic!
