🍓 Strawberry Treat Snacks for Bunnies – Sweet Moments, Happy HopsI recently tried out a pack of strawberry treat snacks for my rabbit, and they were a hit from the very first nibble! The natural fruit aroma caught her attention immediately, and she was bouncing with excitement before I even set them in her dish. These little snacks add a delightful touch to her day—and mine.✨ Texture & TasteThe treats have a soft-chewy texture that’s gentle on her teeth while still providing a satisfying crunch. They’re made with real strawberries and a short, bunny-safe ingredient list—no added sugars or artificial preservatives, which gives me peace of mind about her health. A couple pieces go a long way, so they’re easy to use as a training reward or special treat.

Immediately I noticed one of the ingredients is molasses which in addition to the fruits makes this more of a candy than a nutritious treat for buns. Because of this I’ll only be giving a couple once or twice a week. I’d love to see Oxbow do molasses free versions of these treats because my Mango adores them! She’ll try to chew threw her cage to get to one. They smell amazing, very sweet but they are on the harder side texture wise (probably because of the molasses). I haven’t noticed my senior bun having a hard time chewing them but I’ll update once we finish the bag!

These are so cute and little but perfect size for pet chi for snack. Very healthy. She loves these. She loves her hay and pellets but during day she & night she also wants 1 as snack of this then she wants aopke stick later then her dried apple and real apple slices. She is picky but absolutely demands these treats every day. She probably has 3 in a day mised up w other treats. i just bought 2 more paks thank u oxbow

My guinea pig loves these. You have to be careful because you can only give him one or two at a time. Make sure you don’t give guinea pigs too many because they’re only treats.

The media could not be loaded. My rabbit is a very picky one when it comes to food. He’s also not one to just take stuff from my hand. I put one near his face, and within seconds, he snatched that thing up! He was so excited, that when he grabbed it, he ran around with it for about 30 seconds, and then started chowing down on it. If that doesn’t clearly show he likes the it, then I don’t know what will. I tried getting a video of him eating it from my hand again, but I think he is a little camera shy, lol! The only thing that was annoying was opening it. I tore off the part it tells you to (since it’s resealable), and after that, I couldn’t get it open. I tried tearing it apart like a chip bag, but that didn’t work either (mind you, I have fake nails on). It’s not enough to take away a star though. I will also be sharing these treats with the guinea pig in the household, so we’ll see how he feels about them. OMG ALSO, they smell so good, it makes me want to eat them!! 😂

Always get these for my pigs and rabbits ! Nice way to start the morning along with some pets ! They smell like they are suppose to, good price for treats and how long they last

I bought these for our picky dwarf hamster named Henry. I was having a hard time finding hard & healthy treat chews that my hamster would like enough chew and grind his teeth on. After researching food and treats specifically for a dwarf hamster after picking him out, I learned that some of the treats that I originally bought preparing for a hamster were not healthy and most were way too sugary, especially for a dwarf hamsters in any of the different species (Campbell's, Winter Whites, etc.), because they are prone to diabetes. Fruit can even be too sugary for them. I learned the yogurt drops and similar treats aren't great for any hamster, and of course I had already bought a couple different flavors and types of treats in these categories that I now couldn't use, so I started looking for healthy treats that Henry would like.I thought I went crazy buying stuff before getting him, but probably went a bit crazier getting A LOT of different healthier treats, supplements, and chews after getting him, loving him, and researching more, along with realizing that he is a picky hamster that doesn't care to chew on any of his wooden toys, furniture, apple sticks, alfalfa sticks, etc, which he needs to do to grind down his ever growing teeth. I mean he doesn't touch anything that isn't food, PERIOD! These Oxbow chews are actually both healthy, with fewer ingredients of which I know and can pronounce, and hard and thick enough to help with him grinding his teeth down. This is very important. If your hamster is like Henry and isn't chewing on their toys, furniture, or accessories made for chewing, you have to find a hard treat like this that they will like enough to chew. Their teeth never stop growing and if they don't grind them down it can cause health problems, along with them having trouble eating with their overgrown teeth, which can lead to death if you don't take them to a vet to get trimmed. I definitely didn't want a vet bill or for Henry to go through all of that, so when I found these on here I ordered them, but also ordered plain dog biscuits, with very few basic ingredients called Buddy Biscuits (peanut butter flavor), and a pack of the smallest sized Whimzee dog chews. In doing all of that research that I mentioned above, I read in multiple places from hamster pros that those dog treats/chews are great alternatives if your hamster isn't interested in chewing and grinding on anything that isn't food. These were one of the few packs of hard enough chews specific to hamsters and other small rodents that I bought, and I was really excited to find this healthy option. I was worried by this point though, so I still went ahead and bought other things too because I wasn't sure what he'd like, and I wanted to have options and be able to switch things up for him. Luckily, Henry likes everything new that I've tried!I make sure to only give him one brand or chew at a time usually because they're big and he'll skip his pellet food and fill up on just treats, and that's not good either. He wouldn't get all of his needed nutrients that way. I could give this chew specifically a couple times a week, unless I'm giving a dog treat/chew that week. I might still give him one of these that week, but on a day he doesn't have any chews left, and I don't do it every week.These do come in a much smaller bag and don't have a ton of chews for the price, but they're not too expensive for a healthy and hard chew, so I'm thankful to have found them. I also like that they come with a ziploc seal, which is great for freshness and storing. Henry definitely likes these, but I don't think they're his favorite, if I'm being honest. That's why I'm not giving them 5 stars. He's picky though, so they're still a positive for me and I do recommend these. My bunny favorite treats! He is almost a year old and those are still his favorite. They last him quite a while and the smell is amazing he digests them with no issues and it has a nice crunch to them so its good for him to chew. They are not soft and the size is a little bigger than a quarter he gets 2 every other day he is extremely healthy.
