Great Wireless Temperature Sensor to help stabulize temperature in areas your thermostat can't reach
Was as advertised and arrived on time. I purchased 2 of these wireless sensors to help cool my upstairs better since the temp up there is always 6-7 degrees warmer than the IAQ Prestige thermostat located on the 1st level. Linking the 2 wireless sensors to the thermostat was very easy. Once linked to the thermostat, each of the sensors were placed in different upstairs bedrooms. The average of the temperature of each sensor and the temperature at thermostat are combined to cool or heat the areas where the sensors are located. It has lowered the upstairs temperature by 5 degrees keeping my downstairs thermostat on 74. User just needs to understand that due to the thermostat averaging the upstairs temp with the downstairs temp, the displayed indoor temperature is the average of the 2 sensors upstairs and the thermostat downstairs temperature. Using sepatarate thermometers where the each of the sensors are and placing one downstairs , the temperature in both rooms upstairs were 74 and downstairs was 70, thermostat displays indoor temp as 74. I am very satisfied with the performance of the sensors to lower my upstairs temperature from 79 to 74 degrees. A much more affordable solution than having air returns and extra venting installed upstairs or using window air conditioners.

Works perfectly
This was a refurb or return IIRC. Someone didn't know how to reset it to hook up with their wifi I guess. It worked perfectly and I saved money,

This works great!
We had many issues where one room is hotter/colder than another so I bought one for each bedroom.Functionally is what I expected. It connects to the thermostat and control the temperature in the back of rooms / far from the thermostat.Easy to connect!

Wireless Indoor Sensor Configuration - Average vs Single
I wrote an overall review of the package consists of the THX9321R5030 Prestige 2.0 Thermostat and the C7089R1013 Wireless Outdoor Air Sensor, and part of this review repeats some of my issues. The installation manual and the guide are confusing and not very clear at points. It is also very expensive and has too many peripherals which are also expensive in cost. It is because of these two problems that I am rating this a 4 instead of a 5.The wireless sensors do not require the Redlink Internet gateway. You only want to buy this peripheral if you desperately want to know from wherever you are the temperature in and outside of your house. To connect the wireless sensors, you need to go to the Menu-Installer Options, but before you go there you need the password. The password is the Date Code found under the Menu-Equipment Status. Select Wireless Device Manager to add the wireless sensors. Make sure the sensor is at least 2 feet away from the thermostat. Some of this is in the manual, but some of it isn't and it isn't obvious. If the sensor is too close it will not be found. To configure the Sensor after you install it, go to the Menu-Installer Options-View Edit Setup. Under this option, go to Sensors-"Which sensors will be used for Temperature Control?" From this menu you can select whether to average or select a specific Indoor sensor to use for the temperature setting. This was not documented well.

Easy to set up. Very small
Although the dimensions are mentioned, it maybe isn't really obvious just how small this device really is. See the attached photo - and note that my hands are relatively small. Setup was easy, the only possible glitch in the documentation is that it doesn't make it clear that the thermostat needs to be put into the "add new wireless device" mode. Once that is done, press the button and it links with no issues.I am adding this because the thermostat is located in the hallway, which is rather unfortunate, because we have chosen not to live there, but rather in the family room which ends up always hotter than the thermostat setting, or colder than the thermostat setting, depending upon the season. Hopefully, this will fix that when placed in the family room.Leaving it averaging the readings for the moment. We will see how that goes.

Wireless Remote Temperature Control
This Wireless Remote Temperature Control does the job. Our master bedroom and master bathroom are an attached wing on the house. I installed it 2 days ago and already my wife and I can feel the difference in that remote master bedroom bathroom's temperature. I adjusted the other heat registers on the first floor, and I anticipate more forced hot air heat distribution and control with some additional energy savings.

Sensor did not work
For reference have 3 working sensors previously from Amazon. On this order the sensor packaging was different, at first it didn’t matter if new however following instructions revealed a non-working unit, replaced batteries with same issue.Amazon troubleshooting was worthless and Honeywell link didn’t apply, went on Youtube and internet eventually giving up.It floors me how a new unit doesn’t work, electronics, workmanship, care all the above and extremely dissatisfied and now wondering if the different package actually means something, does to me, it’s junk
