Firstmate Pet Foods Can Chicken Cat Food, 5.5-Ounce, Pack Of 24 Cans

First of all, let me say that on paper, or in this case, on the can, this product is everything I was looking for. No carageenan, no gums of any kind, bpa free cans. I really wanted my cat to love this food, but he didn't. I am giving this 3 stars because I gave this to my sister for her cat and her cat loves it. Though this did not work out for me, her cat enjoyed it.

This is one of the few cat foods I've found that doesn't contain MSG (in the form of "natural flavors) - I'm delighted with it, and my cats are, too.

I have a medically needy cat. He has food allergies, a very sensitive G.I tract and a urinary tract that's prone to blockage. He was on a prescription diet, but he would no longer eat it. So his doctor recommending finding a single source protein & grain free food We tried many different foods.Then I read about FirstMate, and discovered that the protein used is human grade, so that to me means its safer for my baby.The big question is will he eat it...and the answer is YES! He loves it, and is staying healthy!!

Food was fine for a while then my cats wouldn't eat it anymore. Had to donate my cases to the strays outside.

Dogs love it.

My cat keeps her food down, now so I know this is the quality I was looking for. Since the protein content is high, I don't have to give her as much and I spend less.

My one cat doesn't like the can but likes the dry.
