these little things make all the difference if you need to wear O2 all the time... the cannula hurts my ears, to these work just fine. however, they need to be secured with tape of something as they keep opening and falling off.

I bought these for my mother who has to wear canula for oxygen most of the time now. She has super sensitive and delicate skin, so prior to ordering these, she would not use her oxygen as much as she should have because the tubing made her skin sore/overly sensitive.Not only did it work wonderfully for its intended purpose, she has cut smaller pieces to make her glasses more comfortable. So this is an all around win for me. My mother can be very ...particular, and is she's happy, I'm VERY happy. Will order again when the need arises.

For me, they suck! I went back to using strips of Nexcare Absolute Waterproof First Aid Tape, 1-Inch x 5-Yard Roll (Pack of 6). It cushions well, doesn't slip around, make your ears stick out, and fall off like these Salter Labs Wraps do.... Make sure you've no oils on your hands or cannula, use a strip (aprox 2" long) when doing the job. doesn't hurt to have a third hand1st review: I came here to rant on these ear cushions. They are easy to install once you find the split; but when I’d adjust the cannula on my face they came off. Tape doesn’t stick to them very well so I had to double wrap them. Man was that an ugly sight! I hated them. Then I read Raymond Leonard Keil’s response to a question in Jan, “…tie them with small thread they stay on”. Good idea! I did although tying thread with these arthritic fingers is a bother. The cushions are pretty comfortable and stay where they are supposed to be when I adjust the cannula on my face. See pictures. I’ll try that and adjust my review accordingly if needed.

The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they fall off I had to use soft tape to keep them from falling off

I purchased these for my 89 year old father who was just put on full-time oxygen. The original cannulas provided by the DME company with his concentrator had rubbed a raw spot behind his ears. We purchased these along with a softer cannula, and they increased his comfort tremendously. The only reason I have given them an average rating is because they keep coming off. First we put spots of hot glue on them to hold them onto the cannula, but that didn't last long (didn't want to actually glue them to the cannula). So now we wrap a small amount of medical tape on the ends to hold them closed firmly around the tubing. It may not be possible to use a harder material that will hold closed better and still achieve the cushion needed. Perhaps a harder material on each end? The ends don't touch the ears, so that may not compromise their comfort. Just an idea...

Pretty easy to put on. Stayed on canulla during use and really provided relief.

I got these for my mom. She has to wear oxygen while sleeping and wakes every morning with marks on her cheeks from the line. I thought these might help with that. They didn't. So she tried using them where the line goes behind her ears for added comfort. They wouldn't stay on there. As soon as the line bends, they would pop off. We tried taping them closed but the tape then rubbed the delicate skin behind the ears. So they are basically useless for her.
