Works like a charm
Very easy to install. Our original knob cracked on the inside and I noticed it was plastic so I decided to look for one on Amazon and sure enough I found one and I was hoping it fit. Well good news for us it fit perfect and even more sturdier than what we originally had. The new one had a metal ring around the plastic that broke on our old one so i think that will help it from breaking again. The picture on the left is the old one and the one on thr eight is the new one.

Not quite the right size
The opening on the back is larger than my machine calls for. It works although you might go through the presets to get the time right. Can’t beat the price.

It does fit but still a bit loose
The overall design of these knobs is not good. This is my 3rd timer knob for my dryer because they continually wear out. If you own a dryer that uses this timer knob design, you know what I mean. The plastic on the back of the timer knob continentally breaks and then the timer knob will just spin around freely on the dryer, and you won't be able to actually set the time unless you remove the knob and use some pliers. The knob looks nice, and fits, mostly, but is still a little loose. But hey, when you need a knew knob, you need a new knob.

DOES NOT WORK ON MAYTAG PERFORMA DRYER.
GREAT KNOB AND FITS MAYTAG PERFORMA. HOWEVER, ARROW POINTS 180 DEGREES IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION FOR THE MAYTAG PERFORMA DRYER.THE KNOB COST 9 BUCKS AND THE DRYER IS 20+ YEARS OLD. THE OEM KNOB COSTS 29 BUCKS.THE QUESTION IS DO YOU WANT TO DRAW AN ARROW ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE FACE AND WHITE OUT THE STOCK ARROW FOR A SAVINGS OF 20 BUCKS?FOR ME THE ANSWER IS YES.
