This toothbrush is a replacement for an older model that is starting to lose it's ability to hold a charge. It was time to replace it and this model was on SALE! WOOHOO!It's slightly smaller handle is easier for me to hold with my small hands. The "stutter" at the end of each 30 second quadrant is more noticeable and the light is easier to see while holding up against your face.It uses the same brushes as most Oral-B toothbrushes so I just continued to use the same brush (it is still in acceptable condition). That is a critical need as I buy my brushes ahead when on sale so I never have to worry if I have one.It's got a textured surface that makes it easy to grip and not slip in your hands. One reviewer said it looked like it had hair on the surface. That's dust! It's just so textured that it gathers fine dust but doesn't affect it's use at all. It also clearly notes that you can place it under running water. Being black, it really shows the foam and such from brushing.It states clearly that you can leave it in the charger between uses ALL THE TIME where the older model still states that you should charge it down at least every 6 months. It's not supposed to have a memory so I don't understand why.There are two "negatives" -- both very minor.1: Like almost all devices like this, the time it holds a charge is worded in a very vague way. It says 2 weeks and then goes on to say 2 weeks brushing twice a day for 2 minutes (normal time). That makes the charge time about 56 minutes - roughly an hour! What if you use it 3 times a day (as I do upon dentist recommendation)? That makes it about 9 days! That can be confusing.2: Good luck at "registering it". The box comes with a little card for coupons if you "register". This does NOT affect the warranty. It's only for the coupons. However, you can't do it (unless they've fixed the problem in the past week). I tried! This model is not on the list! You have to select what model you are "registering" and it's not on the list. I called and they checked and were shocked to find the customer was actually right! I'm getting my coupons and just warning people of the minor issue.

The bottom line is, it cleans very well.I charge mine once a week but it would last longer. There are several different brush settings, none of which I use, however it's cool I guess.There's an app that you can download and see your brushing data, which is something only an insane person would do, but I suppose if you're into that sort of thing you'd like it.It vibrates every 30 seconds so you know how long you've been brushing.The light turns red if you've brushed too hard so you don't damage your gums.Overall, after I brush my mouth feels cleaner than if had a dumb old regular toothbrush.

Works well. Bought for $69 and it's worth that price. Not sure if an electric tooth brush would be worth $100+

I am one of those psychos that uses the app, and I like the fact that I can see how clean I get my teeth. Took a week to figure it out but I've got it now and I brush for the right amount of time and my teeth feel much cleaner than my old electric toothbrush.

The toothbrush works great. Much improved overall from the previous model. Even has an app to evaluate your brushing.

Finally had to replace a 15yr old Pro series. Definitely quite the upgrade with more power. Feels better on my gums bc I do not need to push nearly as hard to get the same clean. All my extra brush heads fit as well which is a plus.

Es una buena herramienta y más cuando no se sabe cuánta presión ejercer sobre los dientes. Antes solo usaba cepillos convencionales que me causaban sangrado en las encías, sensibilidad y problemas de retracción en las encías, pero luego de comprar este cepillo jamás volví a tener estos problemas, mi salud oral mejoró un 200%. Al comienzo uno puede usar la app, pero con el tiempo se vuelve un poco complejo... un plus es que el cepill vibra cada tiempo indicando que se puede cambiar de zona de cepillado ya que según el fabricante la boca se divide en 4 zonas, y una vez se finaliza el tiempo por cada zona vibra entre 2 y 3 veces seguidas como señal para finalizar el cepillado y así evitar un daño sobre el esmalte dental y las encías. Lo recomiendo mucho.
