Lots of items
Nice way to give a preschool transportation lesson more of a hands-on aspect.

Two things that I don't like about these toys- 1) they are very hard to ...
Bought these as a small diversion for my son (2.5) on an airplane trip. They were a huge hit and are still a fave 9 months later. He loves to "fly" them around the house, line them up on the tables, and tell us all about the different types of planes. Two things that I don't like about these toys- 1) they are very hard to get out of the tube, my now three year old needs help as they get stuck on the hanging rope and are hard to maneuver 2) they hurt like a b when you step on them when they are left out.

The product was used in a PreK sensory box
I love the variety of air transportation vehicles in this pack. The small toys are well made and I'm assuming that these will last for quite some time. Since they are small it could become a choking hazard for young infants/toddlers so I'd definitely supervise the younger ones. They can be used in many different ways. For example, all of my students loved playing in the "sky" sensory bin with these.

The right description in terms of colors and the same replicas as original planes .
My 5 year old grandson who an airplane lover and wants to be a “ a fighter jet pilot!” He can identity commercial and military jets had this to say “ I liked how you can take them to places. What I don’t like is that the colors shown in the picture and the ones received in the toob don’t match. The wings on the fighter jets have a small gap but they should have a gigantic gap like the real planes. It is ok to buy but the people who make these for children should do a better job.” I asked him if he would recommend for other children to buy. He said “ yes I do!”

Great collection of 'flying machines.'
I love any item like this that will catch the interest of boys. There is so much on the market for girls but I am always on the look out for 'Boy stuff!' This is of course interesting for girls too but I have added it to my collection of 'BOY' teaching materials. I wish the names would be on all of the objects. Safari does put them on some but not all!

Different look
Like others I’m shocked how different these look from the picture. Apparently that’s the “new look”. I even went to Safari Ltd’s website... the pictures there match this set. They must be cutting down on labor or something. I have half a mind to get paint and redo it the way this looked before. I just don’t know if I have enough skill.Another review mentioned that the figures had names on them but not all. I looked and was happily surprised that they all indeed had names.

Great at expected
Great at expected. Quality is average but still ok. Kids who are in a sensitive period for small objects will respond very well to these miniatures. My 2 year-old was fascinated with the objects at arrival, and asked for the names (I will also create laminated pictures of each object for him to match..Montessori style), and my 4 year-old started an imaginary story using them.
