So warm and cosy. Advertised as for men but it’s unisex. Non itchy. A strong wind blows through it as with any knit item, but under normal circumstances it’s wonderful. Keeps your ears warm!

I've noticed over the course of several winters that I can sometimes still feel super cold even after piling on the layers. After I started cycling in this hoodie my friend got me as a gift, I realized that having that extra headgear makes all the difference! Hence began my search for a winter hat. I initially was looking at those trapper hats with the rabbit fur and the whole 9 yards, but decided to go with this one instead; the gray fair isle pattern was a more subdued, conservative look vs. the flamboyant trapper hats, so I thought that it'd be a good first investment while I decided if I wanted to get more like this or not.I've been wearing it for a week, and it's definitely not an understatement that it keeps you warm! Plus, the wool-like lining is super soft and comfortable to wear. If there's one gripe that I can make, it would be about the size. I have a big head, so I was worried about the one-size-fits-all status for this hat, and turns out my fears were not completely unfounded. I hoped that it would be a bit oversized, but it fits perfectly so I have to do everything in my power to avoid this thing shrinking.Overall, it's a good buy and I'd definitely recommend it! If I end up getting another one though, I might try venturing into an actual trapper hat or maybe one of those oversized slouchy beanies with the pom-poms just to test out the other products in the market.

This hat is very well constructed and extremely warm. If you just need something to keep the cold air off this hat is too warm. We were looking for a hat for going out snowblowing, but even in 20 degree weather this hat made him sweat. From the photo and the description, we could not tell that this has was lined in kind of a Sherpa type thing. Will keep searching for an unlined hat with ties that hopefully won't make him so hot when he's working hard. This hat is very nice though if you are looking for something that will keep you warm in extremely cold weather.

I have a huge hat collection, but this is my absolute favorite!! A few years ago, I bought my first Muk Luks hat in a store, and it immediately became the best hat I owned. I’m extremely happy to find the same hat in a different color on Amazon (this item). The quality is wonderful since the first one I purchased is at least several years old, and is still in excellent condition considering it’s the hat I wear the most often. It is incredibly soft, and keeps you very warm in cold winters. Definitely recommend!
