I tried measuring the thickness of the foil with a micrometer but due to the soft nature of aluminum and the foil thickness can only say it's about .001". But all foils are around that, so I turned to weight per unit area. I can tell you that 6 inches square ( 36 sq. in) of the foil weighs about 22.9 grains( I used a reloading powder measure scale there are 437.5 grains per ounce so that's about 0.05234 oz.). If you have the resources to weigh a 6x6" piece of Reynolds foil you can compare the two thicknesses as the thickness is proportional to the weight for any two pieces of foil of equal area. As a matter of interest I weighed 36 SQ inches of "Simply Done" foil from Walmart ( a cheap thin foil) and it weighed 15.3 grains so the KingsFord foil is 50% thicker than the Walmart cheap stuff. Q: what makes it non-stick? Is it coated with something?

No coating . It's just smooth enough to make adhering to it more difficult.
