Road Top Wireless Carplay Compatible with Apple Carplay & Android Auto, Compatible with Audi A6 S6 2010-2011 Year, with Audi Q7 2010-2015 Year with MMI 3G System, Carplay Retrofit Kit Decoder

So this would be probably my first ever review. Would like to let you know about this product and it features. Everything came as described fully packed in nice box, plenty of instruction which is making the installation and set up so easy and straight forward. Took me about 45 min to finish installing the device and that is with check in it before putting everything back together. It really an easy plug and play installation. So far tried the wireless Android auto and it works perfectly connects without any issues. Will see how long it will last. Having Google maps on your main screen it's really helpful and moves the car a bit further in technology world. So far I can highly recommend this product, so go ahead and upgrade your car media system.

1. If you know someone that has installed one of these boxes before, that's the most difficult part out of the way.2. I thought that once all the wires were connected correctly, the box would be more or less 'plug and play'. I was very wrong.3. These boxes are made to get Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay working in a number of different cars, so you have to select the right toggle switch to get it working in yours. Sounds simple enough, again I was wrong. Thankfully, the person that helped me install it also has the same Audi A6 (C6) that I have, so he advised me which toggle switch to use. Every toggle switch combination that the seller was telling me to use didn't work, which was very frustrating.4. Even with the right toggle switch selected, the screen would be all black (without any display). This required the seller to provide a software update link, for me to download on to USB drive, then connect to the Android Auto USB to update the box. Again this was advice from my friend of what was needed, the seller didn't seem to want to provide the essential update for me.5. Then after struggling for nearly 3 weeks, when the Android Auto screen finally appeared on my car screen, I thought I had finally made it. Guess what, I was wrong. It took me a few more days to pair/link my Android mobile wirelessly via the WireAuto app.Somehow I managed to get over the 'this is a pile of rubbish I might as well put it in the bin and ask for a refund' stage and kept going.This product requires a lot of knowledge and patience to get it working, so decide yourself if you have both of those. I can't confidently say that the seller knew the product very well, however he was helpful (but also in China, so timezone differences created further communication delay problems).Price was good for what it was I suppose. If you decide to buy, good luck.

Not very well designed and tested. No R&D has gone into this product.I have stripped my centre console and glove box off the car to aid in fitting, but the main power cable that goes from the factory sd card unit, to the road top control unit via the climate control power supply is roughly 12" too short and therefore makes this product UNUSABLE until a longer cable is provided.This has obviously never been tested on the car it is sold for.I have managed to connect everything up, the glove box will no fit as the power cable is in the way like a guitar string. Even still Road Top box is DOA.Poor poor poor.

Easy install, works as it should, highly recommended
