I think this electric lighter is superior to normal flame lighters. You will never have to spend money on lighter fluid to refill it, it lights in seconds, and recharges extremely quickly. Another great feature is the on off switch. You can switch it off if you are worried about storing it in a drawer and sparking to light a fire. The best part is the bendable neck, you can extend it straight if you need extra reach, or bend it back on itself if you want to leave the candle flat on your table when you light it. I love this lighter.

Had to try this. Looks like a mini-taser! Design is thoughtful all around and seems high quality. Tips do not seem to get hot after use and at least after a few gas stove lights it doesn't have any marks on it either.

I was so excited about this because it works so well and there's no flame so you can use it at weird angles for candles then just recharge it.But whatever sound it makes makes my dogs act like it's the most devastating and painful sound in the world. Even if I use it for a split second. They start whimpering and running around with their tails tucked. I have 3 dogs - 2 of them are miserable with it. I don't get it but sadly have to return it for that reason.

I personally use this handy little gadget to light candles. You can even recharge it. I also think it would make a great Christmas gift or stocking stuffer for those hard to buy for.

We bought this to avoid buying a new gas lighter every time it runs out of gas. Since this is rechargeable we didn't want to buy any other lighter after this. Battery doesn't last very long but it's acceptable given the size of the device and it doesn't take long to recharge. The safety lock is also a valuable features.
