If you are looking for a 9 lb ball, you need to go with a 10 lb. When you get it drilled, it takes about a 1/2 lb off the original weight, so closer to 9 lbs.

Q: Why doesn't my bowling ball have holes in it?

Bowling balls don’t come with hole.. you need to get it professionally drilled to fit your hand and bowling style.

Beautiful ball. Feels really nice to bowl with. I haven't even got finger holes drilled for it but I was still able to spin it (barely) and I even got a strike. I was super impressed
