This is a prop meant to keep a door locked in place in the open position, or, keep a door from closing. It probably won’t work as a bumper. It’s not too high off the floor. You would kick this under the door to lock it in place to prevent it from opening.

Q: Is this safe for use around my puppy? He chews on his toys a lot now and his teeth get sharper every day.

It is rubber so the puppy may chew on it but it is a hard rubber. My dogs chew but have never bothered the doorstop.

Yes, the door will not move, depending on where the little guy is placed. And it is cute too!

It doesn’t weigh anything it is a wedge type stopper you place it in a pull towards the head and it holds the door it’s rubber.
