I’m in my late 20’s and still dealing with the occasional breakout, so I was looking for a cleanser that could prevent and treat acne while being gentle enough for my adult skin - especially in the winter. My acne typically responds well to salicylic acid, but a lot of the cleansers I used when I was younger are way too harsh now.To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of foaming washes in general. I’ve always felt like they didn’t actually clean my face well enough. But this one surprised me. The “slip” and lather it has is closer to a gel cleanser in terms of how effectively it cleans, but it leaves my skin soft and hydrated instead of tight and dry. My face feels clean but not stripped, which is a rare balance to find.Oh, and the smell is amazing. It’s light but refreshing.If you’re looking for a cleanser that’s effective on adult acne without being too harsh, this is it. Highly recommend for anyone with sensitive or acne-prone skin, especially if you’ve been burned (literally or figuratively) by harsher products in the past.

I keep buying this because it’s so gentle and easy on you skin while still feeling super clean. And I’d give it a solid 5 stars if they’d just spend a tad more on the bottle and especially the top/dispenser. It almost always has an issue. As the product is used there is no air release when you pump, so instead of rich foam you get soapy bubbles. And it still works, but really? The dispensing also starts to create a vacuum so the bottle pulls its own sides in and makes it more difficult to pump. This is super easy product design. Call up literally any of the other hundreds of companies who’ve nailed it.
