excellent holster
Does exactly what it should and nothing it shouldn't.

Works as intended
Good holster. Works well. I only wish the thumb activated release was a little lower profile. It sticks out just enough to get slightly into your side when bending, but not too bad. Its tolerable. I may dremal it just a bit to thin it up on the thumb pad.

NOT for P365 (short)/ IS for XL Model
Couldn't find a definitive description. So, relied on previous comments and answered questions and took a chance.SO, this WILL fit the P365...But, is made for the P365XL (essentially same frame, longer barrel.) You will have about an extra 3/4" of holster beyond the barrel. If you are okay with that, it will be great. IF you are looking for a PERFECT fit for your P365, this isn't it. The custom molded "sheath" and ALS safety work fine. But, most would acquire the P365 to save the extra 3/4" for concealment purposes. So, the extra length negates that.Safariland makes great holsters. So, where "size doesn't matter," ;) I'm probably going to keep the one I ordered and use it on a vest, gear bag, range bag, etc.Hope this helps someone wondering the same thing about the model- You're welcome. lol

Heartbreaking.
For those who might make the mistake, this does NOT accommodate the P365 XL with the Romeo Zero. The locking mechanism rides in the sight channel, and is no way modifiable as a screw is at the entry to the holster, and secures additional hardware.I’m starving for a Safariland holster that mounts to the QLS, and accommodates the P365 XL with optics. I’m thinking I’ll bag a unicorn before I land the holster.

Safariland says it all.
Perfect fit for P365XL without Red Dots or lights. ALS system works flawlessly. You can use it as a paddle holster or belt holster. Will last for years.
