I tossed my marble rolling pin for this tool. I love it! It made it easy to keep my pie dough round as I rolled it out. It is also very comfortable to use.

I used to use a regular rolling pin with handles to roll dough, but it just wasn’t long enough for rolling dough for cinnamon buns. Needed something longer to roll out dough to the length and width I needed. This is perfect.

It's just a wooden dowel similar to the French pins but not tapered on the ends. Speaking for myself, this allows good control and an even rolled out dough thickness. Wood seems a little soft but as long as it's floured, it doesn't seem to stick to the dough anymore than any other pin I've tried. Please note though, I've been baking only about a year or two.

this is just right for making noodles.

I love this rolling pin. No nooks and crannies to try to clean, easy to put guides on for even rolling, large surface area.
