Sturdy and sleek
All portafilters should come with a dosing funnel, but that’s just my opinion. This dosing funnel is sleek and sturdy. It has been a game changer for dosing my shots. It stuck on well since it’s magnetized. Easy to remove and clean.

Fits Perfectly on My Kitchen Aid Semi Automatic Espresso Machine (Model kes6551)
I recently purchased a Kitchen Aid Semi Automatic Espresso Machine with burr grinder (Model kes6551), which I LOVE. I noticed rather immediately that I needed a portafilter funnel, as grounds would spill over during the grinding process, which was messy and a waste of coffee.NOTE: I bought another stainless steel funnel which I really liked too, but it didn't fit when you put the porta filter into the grinder, so I sent it back and got this one instead (which was actually less expensive). It is visually attractive, heavy duty/weight and fits PERFECTLY on my new machine. Functionality wise, I give it a 10, and have probably rescued enough previously lost grounds at this point that it's likely already paid for itself.Highly recommend if you get the Kitchen Aid model I bough, referenced above.

All the whistle and bells at half the cost of others
58mm dosing funnel, what can I say, works very well, has magnets, easy to clean and is half the cost of most others, highly recommended:)

Good fit
This funnel is a good fit for 58mm portafilters. The magnets hold it in place securely and can be removed without disturbing the coffee in the basket.

Sturdy
The quality is solid. Real stainless steel, no rust, and it fits my 58mm Portafilter perfectly. It's the real deal. But, there are some quirks. The inner lip takes up space, and the magnets aren't superheroes. Still, it gets the distribution job done. If you've got a 58mm Portafilter, it's worth a shot for coffee lovers. In short, it's a sturdy choice.

Poor fit and magnets don’t work well
I’m using this on Gaggia portafilters with stock and aftermarket baskets.First the good. It’s a tall dosing funnel and stays in place during WDT.The bad. Some don’t like that the downwad facing inner lip occupies a lot of the sides of the basket. In my opinion this is not so bad, but it could fit better, it has a lot of slop in the baskets I have tried it in. Next, the magnets basically don’t work, this might be because of the metals in the portafilter, but with my setup the magnets don’t help at all.

Works perfectly if you have a "ferro-magnetic" filter basket
I have seen reviews about the magnets not being strong enough. I think the problem is that their filter baskets were made of metal other than steel. Stainless steel and many other metals are not "ferro-magnetic" and a magnet will not stick to them. To be sure this funnel will work for you, get a magnet, even one off the fridge, and see if it sticks to the basket. If it does this will work for you. If it doesn't, look elsewhere for a funnel
