Excellent ultra portable speaker
If a decent sound from a small portable system is what you want then this is ideal. The speaker is compact and has proven very durable. The sound is well balanced and perfectly judged. They have not overdone the bass so it remains tuneful and controlled and therfore will not be as pronounced or go as deep as a larger speaker. This can be compensated for somewhat by placing the speaker close to a wall or in a corner if you want a bit more oomph. The treble compliments the bass focusing on detail and a natural reproduction rather than pushing he limits of the frequency extremes. To say the speaker has been designed for the best reproduction within the limitations of its size sounds a bit underwhelming, but it is exactly why it is so good. Battery life is also excellent and while there is an app it is not necessary. Very god value for money and recommended

Perfect, easy to use, quality item
Simple and easy to use speaker that delivers lovely mellow base sound. About the size of a beefburger so very portable. The battery charges really quickly and then lasts all day and a bit more. Connects real quick to your devices. Has 3 large control buttons on top, + or - volume & pause; this makes it an ideal companion when working in the office as you quickly turn volume up or down. I didn't realise when buying it that it also acts as a speaker if you have a call coming in on your mobile phone! You can instantly toggle that off if required through your phones call answering screen. In summary, this well exceeds my expectations, especially when considering the relatively low cost.

Small portable and great sound quality!
Impressive sound output and quality from a very compact speaker. I bought this to take while travelling as I wanted something portable. I looked at lots of options but the reviews on the Tribit were really good so this is what I ordered. It definitely met my expectations, room filling sound with good bass and almost no distortion. It’s easy to charge as it uses the standard usb c cable which most phones have . It’s robust enough to pack but small enough not to take up much room. My favourite WiFi speaker now.

Can a small speaker ever really sound good?
It's always the difficulty, isn't it? How great is 'great', when you're talking about a speaker that's barely 3" square, including all the electronics and battery. How could it possibly compare to one that's twice, or ten time's it's size/cost? You have to accept that what someone describes as "awesome, amazing sound" may well be someone else's "it's ok" - it depends on your personal preferences and previous experiences. If you're reading this then like me, you've probably been hunting for the "perfect" travel speaker - the one that doesn't cost hundreds of pounds, but that offers a decent and acceptable quality of sound, at a decent volume level. I've tried several over the years - even going as far as spending a fortune on the Sonos Roam speakers (they got sent back - sounded 'ok', but could NOT justify the cost). Not having heard of Tribit before, I was pointed towards them by a review of travel speakers somewhere online. This speaker came highly rated in their portable/travel section, so I thought I'd give it a try. There are lots of positives to report - it's a very well-built, solid, sturdy device. It feels like it could happily survive a good few knocks, and has a short rubber strap thing that wraps around the back of the device that can be used to attach it, say, to the strap of a bag/rucksack, a belt, or to a branch of a tree. It comes with a very useful and easy to use app that can be used to tweak EQ settings quite dramatically, as well as update the device etc. The controls are simple and easy - pairing is quick, and battery life seems impressive. And the negatives? Well, there aren't really any to report, other than this is a small speaker and you have to accept the limitations of such a dinky device. Don't get me wrong - the sound is punchy, it's loud, there is definitely some bass there (compared to other similar sized speakers), but will your drink be bouncing it's way along the tabletop due to the thumping bass this thing pushes out? No, of course not.I'm impressed with the speaker and will be keeping it. I might even buy a second one to link as a stereo pair. But don't buy this thinking you'll be able to replicate you Sonos home sound system whilst on holiday, because you won't. What you will be able to do is take some decent sounding music with you, pretty much wherever you go.

Great for the bathroom.
So -It’s a really good item with a fab battery and easy to use and to connect to. The volume is loud and there’s v little distortion. The bass is ok but could be a little clearer. The minor gripe is that it’s mono only which isn’t great but for listening to the radio when I’m in the shower it’s perfect. I’ve barely charged it and seems to last forever. My mini Bose speaker is a lot clearer but this is waterproof, functional and does the job - even with music streamed from my phone so I’d give it a big thumbs up.Just be aware that it does have minor shortcomings (mono/bass not completely clear) but it is very good.I’d buy one again.

Great little speaker
Why did you choose this product over others?:After a lot of research I decided to purchase this Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 and I am so glad I did - it’s great! As soon as it arrived I took it out the box turned it on (3/5 battery lights already charged) and it paired very quickly with my iPhone. The sound is great, in fact it is perfect. It is worth paying a bit extra for this speaker which I would recommend in a heartbeat.

Astonishing
This thing is fantastic. I had read that they were good, but I was blown away by the sound of this thing. Bought to replace a speaker that was twice the size (charging port broke) this things blows it away in both volume and quality of sound. It's never going to shake walls, but I've no idea how it manages bass like it in such a small package, and it stays clear and distortion free to uncomfortable volume levels.
