Fantastic tool, pretty easy to use but could be clearer that you have to adjust the collar to get proper movement on the arms. Super easy once sorted and very secure feeling nut. Got me out of a major problem within 10 mins of opening the box.

DIDNT EVEN GET ONE RIVNUT IN AND IT BROKE COMPLETE RUBBISH

Very impressed with quality for price. I bought this because it was cheap and expected to bin it after I'd finished the project I was doing. It's actually a great little tool, well made and strong, so has taken pride of place in my toolbox. Everything but the tool itself isn't great quality, I had some rivnuts already but if I didn't I wouldn't have used the ones supplied and the box is your standard plastic nasty

No complaints, I wasn't expecting professional quality, but this is perfectly adequate for most users, the rivets will work just fine as long as you don't overtighten the screws that you subsequently use in them. I don't understand people who pay for a cheap product and then complain that it isn't high end professional kit.

Did the job… isn’t the strongest.I just needed rk set a few nuts… wouldn’t be any good for prolonged use in my opinion!Maybe I used more force than required being a amature

I didn’t know that this type of rivet was even a thing. I used it to install a battery tray in my Miata. It is a solid tool and came with everything needed, including a small plastic tacklebox for storage. It was big enough that I could also put my regular rivet gun and rivets in with this kit. It did take a fair amount of force to place the rivets, so be warned if you have ‘girly mon’ hands!

The tool comes in a nice storage box with enough room for extra tools or spare rivnuts. The tool itself feels sturdy and well built for the price. One advantage of this style of tool where the front is at 90 degrees, compared to the type which is straight-on, is the ability to get into tighter spaces. The rivnuts which come with it are aluminum. I have used the tool with steel and stainless steel rivnuts with no problems.For those wondering if this will work for the “plus nuts” which are longer than typical rivnuts, I have used it with M5 plus nuts by unscrewing the back and removing the threaded lock collar (see photo).

The tool has no positive feeling that the rivetnut has been fully crimped. Lever action of the tool is not quite good enough as the tool requires lots of strength to squeeze the rivetnut to the installed location.

The M3 Mandrel Rod broke on the first use.Unable to contact the seller for a replacement.Update!I would like to thank the seller, they contacted me by Amazon message and offered to send another kit.The kit arrived and I am looking forward to setting more rivnuts.Please be very careful setting small M3 & M4 aluminum rivnuts.The tool is very strong and you may break the M3 mandrel, and / or pull out the threads from aluminum rivnuts.Thank you Ms. Jane!

Package arrived with the toolbox damaged probably from postal handling but none of concern. Product feels heavy duty with quality craftsmanship. Toolbox is a plus for organizing hardwares.
