Q: Does this model have a rain guage? If not which model does.

Hello Tom, This model does not have a rain gauge. The 3in1 measures wind speed, temperature, and humidity. The next step up would be a 5in1 model. Q: How does outdoor sensor mount?

Hello Amazon Customer, The 3in1 sensor will come with a mounting bracket you can use for mounting. The mounting hole has an outer diameter of 1 inch. The recommended mounting pole would be a 3/4 schedule 40 pipe, which will have an outer diameter of 1 inch. We recommend mounting at least 5 feet from the mounting surface.
