Haven't used it a ton so I can't comment on the durability but I have no reason to suspect it wouldn't. It seems like great quality wire. TEMCO's 4/0 cable is one of the better, if not the best, battery/welding cables that I have used! It is made of pure copper and while nearly impossible to count the number of strands of conductors, it appears to have the appropriate number of conductors for its rated ampacity. I have used this cable in a solar project at my personal residence, specifically to terminate the connection between the battery banks and the bus bar. The cables have been in use for just a bit over 6 months carrying currents up to 300 amps with 100% reliability. The construction of the cables are sturdy, yet flexible enough to maneuver inside the battery rack and junction box. And while there are other high quality brands of battery/welding cables to choose from, TEMCO stands behind their product and will issue a full refund, to include shipping costs both ways, up to 1 year from purchase. The high quality nature of the product combined with this level of commitment to their products made it an easy decision to choose this battery/welding cable from TEMCO. For many hardware and hardware accessory needs, I will first look to TEMCO to see if they have the product, before considering other brands. This cable is as advertised pure copper / 2awg and it's very pliable and easy to work with. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would do so again.

Nice & flexible copper cable

I needed this cable for a project on my wife’s ice cream truck. Auto parts stores are way to expensive. This was reasonably priced and the perfect length. I like that they had a bunch of length options so no didn’t have to buy more than I needed. Would definitely buy from these guys next time I need more heavy gauge battery type cable.

I like the cable itself, but the way its packaged is kind of a pain to unwrap, but nothing impossible. I will purchase more of this for more projects in the future, as it works well, easy to crimp, and very flexible. Made is american products are worth your support.
