Brilliant

The definitive Smiths 'best of', with the singles in chronological order, and it's all good stuff. I always liked the Smiths at the time they were current, but re-visiting them with this CD I am struck by what an original and talented band they were. The earliest material is the best for me...but it's great writing and singing by Morrissey and great guitar-playing by Marr throughout. A truly seminal indie band.

When bands this good finish too soon, there are bound to be a billion compilation and special editions CDs of their work about. This one delivers what you expect of it and in homage to the group always wanted this CD but having bought it "heaven knows I am miserable now...." Its not whether you should buy this album or not the question is why don't you have it in your collection yet.

You can't go wrong with many compilations of The Smiths, really, as their material was always of consistantly good quality. They were just a good band, even if you weren't a fan and only a casual listener. This compilation offers a great selection of songs for the beginner and fan alike at a reasonable price (I got it for £2.50 all in). Go for it!

First Smiths album ever purchased and very pleased as every track a good one! Would recommend this to anyone like myself who enjoys different genres and this is a great addition along with my other music.

The band that adorned a million t shirts and record players for the students of the 80's...if you do not understand why then this is the perfect introduction...

One of the greatest compilations of the Smiths on one CD!! From hand in glove to last night I dreamt somebody loved me. Top notch!!
