Just like the title said, this blanket is just incredible!!!It feels about like a bowling ball in it's vacuum packed condition when it first arrives. It had no unusual odder, only a fresh fragrance.I unfolded it and carried it into the bedroom and once it hit the bed, the cat was instantly rolling and attacking it. He was in love, just pushing and "making soft" with his front paws. In fact I needed to pop him with a pillow a couple of times so he would leave and I could finish spreading out this beautiful, fluffy, soft and heavy weight blanket.It is not too heavy, just enough weight to it to where you feel snugly (is that a word??) covered. I can now appreciate other comments stating that you feel like you are being hugged.It is a comforting sort of feeling that those in colder climates would appreciate. It has started to dip into the 40's at night here and soon I will be closing the two open windows, but for now I am enjoying the crisp cool night time mountain air and looking forward to curling up under my new soft & cuddly blanket while my two male kitty kids pile on top as well.I would recommend this blanket to anyone who enjoys soft, well weighted blankets.Did I mention it's also absolutely beautiful with vibrant yet mellow colors, the term earthy colors would fit well here.Love it!!A wonderful product & I could not be happier with my purchase. I'm sure it will last me many years making it even more of a bargain.How do you put a price on something that will be appreciated every night for years to come anyways?!!I consider it money well spent for the comfort it will bring.It's on top of the sheets and I doubt I will be between the sheets much, most likely on top of the blanket and folding it over top of me. . . . . . .

I just got my blanket today! I re made my bed w/i 5 minutes of opening the package. It is so soft and just beautiful! I live in southern Michigan, I will leave it on our bed all year. Cold winters, and air conditioning in summer. Perfect weight. Color is soft, beautiful design. Well worth the price and what a great gift idea. So pleased. It came with a dryer softener sheet for if wrinkles or static, I had neither problem, but what a nice thought!

The color is perfect & the design doesn't look cheap or tacky. A heavy, super soft, & luxurious blanket. Haven't washed it yet, but could not be happier with it right out of the box. No odors & silky soft.

Was so nice to wrap myself in this during the cold months. The design and thickness reminds me very much of those old style blankets your immigrant parents have in the closet. The material feels prett high quality - no fraying from ours. My wife and I love it!

SO soft! It’s held up very nicely this past year, hasn’t lost any of the fluff or softness. It fit my queen size bed perfectly with a bit hanging off. I kind of want another in a different style! Definitely worth the purchase.
