You need to be careful about your order of operations as you plug things in. The two female ports talk to each other, so as an example, if you plug in headphones to one female side and a phone to the other female side, the headphones will connect with the phone, then the male port is useless.With my phone, if I plug in first my headphones reciever, then my old phone (for data transfer with OTG) then the old phone and the new phone fight for control over the receiver.You need to plug in the two phones first for your main phone to "control" the usb port of the old phone, then you can plug in headphones.Simultaneous music and charging does work, but another review here claims it doesn't, I suspect their power source is trying to take over the headphones just like in my first example.For me, this is a deal breaker unfortunately. I will be shopping around for a pair where this doesn't happen.

The earbuds won't play if the charger is plugged in. The concept of a double plug is for charging "and" listening, this only works for 1 or the other. Waste of time and money.I DO NOT RECCOMEND.....
