I bought these clips to replace my old trusty one (which, let's face it, had probably been around since the dawn of time). The new ones? Game changer. These clips work the way I wanted them to especially with the claws. They gripped the hair very well and hold on too long fine curly hair. Good deal coming with the other clips as well. This is something I only use at home and not in public because they don't suit my hairstyle. I bought them primarily to wear in the shower and keep my hair out of the way and they do that very well. Strongly recommended good value.

I bought these bc of the rave reviews in the NYTimes/wirecutter. Before these, I used Goody claw clips that break SO easily. I’ve probably worn these daily for months and none have broken yet. So definitely better quality than the Goody ones (although I like the approximately 3-inch size that they make). The NYTimes review said these clips stay in place really well—even at the gym. And it’s true! I wear one daily to the gym and I never think about my hair. (Unless I’m lying down for strength work or yoga, in which case it’s not ideal to have a big plastic clip on the back of your head.) These clips are very secure for doing cardio. Way more so than a ponytail.When I first put one of these clips in my hair, it was heavier than I would prefer, and I could feel the weight of it pulling my hair a little across the top of my scalp. I was afraid that would bother me, but I got used to it quickly. That might be a deal breaker for someone with a sensitive head though. I have a lot of long hair, although the texture of my hair is quite fine. These clips work for me, but I wish they came in a 3-inch size because I think that would work better. I’m skeptical that these would work for someone with thin hair bc the clips are so big.

These hold my hair in place and I have a lot of very thick hair. Would purchase again.

My hair is down past my butt, and so thick that a normal hair tie will barely wrap all the way around it twice. I have a hard time finding hair ties, scrunchies, clips, etc. I figured I’d give these a try, and if they didn’t work for me I’d just give them to my daughters. These clips hold ALL of my hair up off my neck, and keeps it up securely. I can wrap all of my hair into the clip and it holds it well. Happy to find something that holds it all up. Great product for a good deal. Happy with the cute variety of neutral colors.
