LOVE these Books!!
I don't write reviews, I've done maybe 2 or 3 reviews out of the 100s of items I've purchased on Amazon (shhh, don't tell the husband). Anyway, my daughter in law bought me book one of the series and I finished it in a little over 2 weeks. I couldn't put it down! I have done crosswords and suduko, never this form of puzzle. So, I ordered book two( this one) and tried to pace myself, but already finished. I just bought the next two in the series and will be buying the two that come out later this year. I usually do a few of these while watching TV in the evening. I find these relaxing and more fun/entertaining than a crossword! Oh, an afterthought, the book starts out easy and gets more difficult as you go. The book also offers clues in the back. Sometimes they help, sometimes they do not! BECAUSE, you have already figured it out! You will also find the answers in the back of the book so you can check to see if Your answer is correct. Happy Puzzling!

Excellent Book. Recommended
I bought all three books. Excellent gumshoe logic puzzle games.Let me just say this to some of the reviews where they said Volume 2 is the same as Volume 1. Obviously, these reviewers only went up to page 13 of Volume 2. Pages 1-13 is only the tutorial section, which is exactly the same tutorial as in Volume 1. Now think about it. Why would GT Karber, the author, write two different tutorials on the same exact puzzle engine he is using for Volume 1 and 2? There's no point to write two different tutorials right? Hence, you find two exact tutorials because nothing has changed with the puzzle engine between Volume 1 and Volume 2. If you read past page 13 of Volume 2, you will see ALL the puzzle cases are completely different than Volume 1. So to anyone who is checking the reviews for Volume 2, all the puzzles are different from Volume 1.Now to the puzzles. Murdle has a very simple yet elegant way of solving the cases. It's all about comprehending the relationship between a suspect, the murder weapon, and the location- connecting all three elements for each suspect. I am going to stop here so I don't spoil the puzzle. The puzzles go from elementary to downright brutal. Overall, I like all three volumes. I typically solve at least one case before going to bed. It's a good mental exercise.Highly recommended. Get all three volumes!

Perfect for the puzzle lover
My husband loved Murdle, Vol. 1 so much, that I had to get the 2nd in the series for him. They start out easy and progressively get harder. He loves the challenge and does a couple daily while having his coffee.

Fun for all ages!
I bought this for a gift for my in laws as well as my nephew and they both loved it! It was a great way to use your mind and get away from a screen. I’m going to purchase this and the first one for me, too!

It's ok
I love these types of puzzles but these have a lot of reading just to get the clues. I prefer ones that just have the clues listed. Quality is good though.

Fun and Challenging
I enjoy puzzles like this and have really been enjoying this book. I messed up on the first one but have been successful on the next 12, which is where I stopped, after doing 7 of those in one sitting. Some are harder than others, even in the first section, which is nice. Some have strained my brain and some I had figured out before I filled anything in on the bottom section. I like that variety. I bought Volume 2 as it was cheaper than Volume 1, but I'll be buying Volume 1 at some point too.
