Works as described on my iPad Air 11” M2 w/ my Smart Folio A2038. I don’t notice any appreciable gap. There are black strips on the outside, but are not obvious due to the black frame on the iPad. I believe they’re there to assist with open/close function of the iPad with accessories. Provides privacy as good or better than competing privacy filters. All items were included for the install.

CORNER OF CASE BROKE OFF AFTER ONLY 39 DAYS OF USE, WITHOUT A SINGLE DROP.I would not trust this case to protect anything. The corner of it broke off from just 39 days of simple use going into a back pack and being taken out. AND I dont even use it daily. many of those 39 days, this iPad and case sat home on a desk. WTF ESR?I suspect the break is a result of the way the kickstand folds out. It is so hard due to the tightness of the hing that it puts pressure on that corner which is around the camera opening and so has less plastic anyways. That corner needs more reinforcement and a better design.

Pros:- As far as privacy, this really works. Even tilting the iPad slightly up as I read makes the bottom part of the screen go dark.- Easy to put on- Comfortable enough to write on, which was what originally made me hesitateCons:- One flaw is the magnetic strip makes it a bit challenging to swipe up (i.e. to close an open page or app). The magnetic strip covers part of where you would swipe.- It's almost too good of a privacy screen, meaning that even the slightest tilt makes part of the page start to go dark- It does darken the screen more than my prior privacy screen did, meaning needing to keep the iPad on a higher brightness

I got this for a 13” iPad. It’s not magnetic. That being said, it’s pretty thin and I’ve been able to remove it and replace it without a lot of issues. I am a little concerned that it will lose it’s adhesive after a while. I think you can clean it to refresh the adhesive, but I’d rather have a magnet. It’s thin enough to work with a Magic Keyboard.

I really like this privacy screen. It works well and is easy to pull on and off my IPad as needed.

As far as magnetic privacy protectors for iPads, this one is insanely good. Just the packaging alone felt high quality. The privacy is above average, don’t have to have brightness as low as others, and the privacy filter kicks in quicker from the sides than others.

Easy to apply and effective in hiding viewing of screen from the sides.
