For a vintage look…..worked GREAT!!
I purchased a new copper bowl for my bread storage on my countertop. But I really wanted to antique it somehow to look vintage. I googled but nothing worked so I purchased this!! Worked perfectly! Highly recommend!!

Excellent Product
Buy the smaller size if you are going to safe a significant difference and you don't use it regularly.Either way ( large or small ) Keep it in a dark place and the product will last almost a year. Unlike other products I have used.

Use hot water!
Doesn’t stay good forever, smells bad, mix only what you need in hot water and works great! Good for toning coins or jewelry

Hard to beat the XL gel for Sterling and fine silver
I've used several oxidizing agents as a silversmith. As far as shelf life, deep black finish and consistent coverage and results, the XL Gel has absolutely been the best. An added benefit to the XL gel is that it does not contain hydrochloric acid, so I don't have to worry about fumes or hazardous waste disposal issues.

Little goes a long way.
You don't need much of this product to create a different look. I'm using it for metal smithing. It sure stinks but creates beautiful product.
