APDTY 119124 Secondary Air Injection Check Valve 4.7L Engine

Swapped this out in about an hour for both sides (bought two) on my 07 tundra. The quality seemed very solid, comparable to dorman or even the OEM it replaced. No reason to spend more in this case ($330 per part at advanced auto, supposedly $1k at dealership). Very satisfied and truck back on the road with no more p2440 or p2441 codes being thrown.

I ordered this part June 20, around 2:00PM. It was at my front door on June 21, 9:00AM. After watching some YouTube videos, I thought I could install this in about 30 minutes. Installation actually took about 2 hours. I tried to work around 3 or 4 hoses and finally realized I was going to have to disconnect one end of them to get them out of the way. I saved about $100 by going with this aftermarket part instead of the original Toyota part. My Tundra is 2007 with 225,000 miles so I didn't want to invest much. So far I am very satisfied!

When installed solved the issue with fault codes and got out of "limp mode", after 14 months codes came back, the pressure sensor in the part failed, not sure about other brands of aftermarket parts but this one did not live up to expectations.

This part solved the codes I was getting on my 2008 Tundra, but after 20 months (and less than 10k miles) the part has failed and codes have reappeared. I expected the part to last longer. I contacted the seller, but they wouldn’t do anything since it’s past the 1-year warranty. The part works at first, but the durability is suspect. I will be purchasing a replacement from somewhere else.
