Perfect for Soy Candles
CD wicks are my alternative to ECO when making soy candles. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was I received a bad batch. The some of the wicks were not tightly crimped to the wick tab, thus coming loose after pouring and straightening in the wick holder.

They seem good, burn steady
Basically as the headline says. They seem well made, burn steady.

Good in soy candles
Worked just as they should. Easy to place, even in intricate molds. They burn cleanly and have no smell. I’ve used them in soy candles and they have been great!

Save your money and don’t buy
These are awful. I stopped trying after 6 wicks. Each time I secured the wick, as soon as I poured the wax, the wick floated right out of the wick tab. I’ve been a chandler for years. I wanted to try CD 7 which normally from my suppliers are only available in even sizes. I had a jar that a cd 6 wasn’t quite getting it and an 8 was a little too much. So I wanted to try a 7. The coating didn’t feel like wax, more like a heavy plastic that melted on contact with hot wax, making the wick diameter in the wick tab shrink quickly and float loose. Some waxes must be poured hot around 160-170 degrees. They need to test their own product before selling. I even tried re tabbing them myself, still happened which is what lead to me believing it’s what they coated them with melting off so the wick slips loose.
