We like to visit outdoor restaurants and local breweries with Lucy. I always hated to have her lay down on the hot pavement or on hot car seats. This blanket is easy to keep in the car since it's so light and easy to travel with. It does feel quite a bit cooler than hot surfaces which is great. Lucy loves to come with us, and here in NJ the summer gets very hot. We got the medium, and she fits on it fine although she seems to like scrunching it up.

Since all of my friends in LA were saying how hot the past few summers have been, and my new place faces directly west without any trees or buildings to create shade, I have to get ready for the hot summer for my furry babies. I used to get those gel-filled cooling pads, but those did not work for my cats as they punctured the mat, even if I covered it with a thin fabric. And even though it says it’s non-toxic, I don’t want them to start licking the gel.This cooling blanket is well-made. It has a nice thickness, and the fabric is slippery-soft. It looks almost the same as the photos on the product page. The color of the blanket that I got is more like blue with a hint of gray, a bit dull instead of the bright navy blue in the picture on the product page. The doggie prints are very cute, but I secretly wish they could throw a cat or two in there.The cooling feature is okay. It’s “cool-er” than regular blankets or towels, but not “icy.” That was addressed in the product descriptions so no surprises.One thing you might want to know about this cooling blanket is that this is a “blanket,” not a cooling “mat.” I mean, yes, you can use it as a mat, but know that it does NOT have a non-slip backing. On the other hand, it can be folded into a small ball because there’s no bulky non-slip backing material. Perfect for traveling and storing.I got a medium, and it’s plenty big for my two cats. Both of them like sitting on the back of my single-seat sofa chair, and I can throw this over on the back or cover the seating area, but I can’t cover both the back and the seat with this size. It does cover almost half of a twin-size mattress, which becomes my furry kids’ day bed when we don’t have any guests, so I will probably use it there when it gets warmer.Because I anticipate a very hot summer in this extremely sunny place without a central air conditioner to cool the entire place, if I need to get another cooling blanket/mat, I’d opt for the one I got before, which has the very “icy” cold texture. However, if you have a great working air conditioner, this blanket might be better suited for your furry kids, especially for the older fur babies who no longer can regulate their body temperatures as they were young. If I had been in my old house and had my old boy, I’d have chosen this blanket over the "icy-cold" blanket for him, who had arthritis. Just cool enough is best for those guys.

My dogs love this! It’s sooooo cute and actually very cooling to touch! The medium fit perfect in my large dog bed!

So i got this item for a couple of weeks now and i have to say that I'm surprised. The item is really soft, easy to wash and it really feels fresh in this heat. It is very durable because my dog always scratches the surface, bites it and drag it all around the house and i just washed it and it looks like new. This product is really good i loved it.

This is really just a small blanket that can be placed on furniture or a bed to help catch any shed hair and to help keep the surface of the bed/couch clean. It doesn't really have any "cooling" qualities other than it being made of nylon, and I will admit that it feels cool to the touch. The design on the blanket is cute and it does not look or feel cheap. My little cat actually like to both sleep and play on it. I think the smooth texture of the nylon feels interesting to my cat and he likes to search underneath it for his little playthings (like tiny cloth mice or if I run a stick underneath it, he loves to "attack" it). Anyway, he is really drawn to it. My intention was to place it on our tile floor for my 16 year old dog to lay on, but it is too slippery and it causes her to have issues standing up. It is a good quality product in my opinion.

This new blanket is a bit thinner and lighter than our other one, but it still provides that same soothing, chilled sensation.Besides the cooling effect, the quality is impressive. It's a pretty blue shade with printed designs on one side. The stitching along the edges looks durable and well-reinforced. Plus, it's machine washable, which makes it easy to keep fresh.As a pet owner, I can't recommend these cooling blankets enough, especially for the summer months. Our pup loves stretching out and napping on the cool fabric or getting under it. It keeps him from overheating and lets him relax comfortably. I probably should have got the larger size though because our pup is growing fast, and this is going to be too small for him very soon.

Ordered this cooling blanket for my dog’s cage. We don’t have central air conditioning only window units when it gets real hot🥵I thought it might help. The only thing to be aware of is that the blanket is shorter than stated in description. My cage is 28 x 42 so I knew it would be a little short but then they cut off another 2 inches. Other than that that I am pleased with the quality and she seems to like it. She pulls it out of her cage and takes it to her bed. I have not washed it yet so can’t comment on cleaning or durability yet. Then pattern of dogs, bones, and paw prints is very cute!

Nice construction and good quality blanket. Note to people that are new to cooling blanket, these blankets are not magical. They provide some comfort, but they also rely on the environment. So you shouldn't expect the blanket to drop the temp by 10F if you're in a warm/hot environment. The key is comfort, it helps with comfort.
